The companies Nuveen and Scanell Properties will have a logistics platform in Constantí

The real estate investment manager Real estate and the real estate investment company specialized in industrial and logistics projects Scannell Properties have announced on Monday the project for a new 40,000 m2 logistics platform in constantine (Tarragona).

In a statement on Monday, Nuveen explained that the new logistics asset is expected to be completed in summer 2023, and will have a 37,500 m2 warehouse, one office space, 45 loading docks and outbuildings.

The general manager of Scannell Properties in Spain and Portugal, Javier Inchauspe, has stated that the new facility responds "to the growing need for high-quality logistics space in the Catalan market."

Thus, the facility in the Constantí industrial estate will offer, according to the statement, a "optimal space for regional and national logistics from Catalonia", since it is close to transport infrastructures such as the Reus airport and the Port of Tarragona, and has quick access to the AP-7 and A-2 motorways.

The center will offer certain innovations and measures in the field of energy efficiency with the aim of being a state-of-the-art logistics buildingsustainable and adapted to the current needs of logistics operators, according to real estate investment companies.
